A violent collision on B2149 Petersfield Road in Havant has left a young moped rider injured and police are now seeking witnesses to the incident.
The crash occurred near the Wakefords Way junction between 12.45pm and 1pm on Monday, 23 November. A Peugeot moped collided with a dark saloon car during this time.
Following the collision, the driver of the saloon car exited the vehicle, shouted at the rider, and then sped off towards Rowlands Castle.
The injured rider, a 20-year-old man, sustained a fractured ankle and received treatment at hospital.
Police have provided descriptions of the individuals involved. The saloon car driver is described as a white male, aged between 40 and 45 years, with a skinny build, approximately 5ft 7ins tall, dark greying short hair, and tattoos on his arms and chest.
A second man briefly exited the car during the incident. He is described as a white male in his mid-20s, skinny, with dirty blond long hair and wearing glasses.
Officers are urging anyone who witnessed the crash or saw the vehicles before or after the incident to come forward. Dashcam footage could be particularly helpful for the investigation.
