On Sunday 29 November 2020, at around 8.30pm, a hit-and-run incident occurred on Rodwell Avenue in Weymouth, Dorset, involving a parked Audi A3.

The parked Audi suffered significant damage, including nasty scratches along its side and a broken wing mirror as a result of the collision.

The driver responsible for the crash did not stop at the scene. Witnesses reported that the suspect’s vehicle, described as a dark grey car—likely a Vauxhall Zafira or Ford C-Max—sped away towards Rodwell Road.

Dorset Police have launched an investigation and are actively seeking information. PC Simon Rogers of Dorset Police said, “We’re investigating and need anyone with dashcam footage or info to come forward. The suspect’s vehicle probably has offside damage and a broken wing mirror after hitting the Audi with force.”

He added, “If you’ve spotted a damaged car matching this description or know anything, get in touch.”
