A brutal weekend of violence has shaken London, resulting in two men dead and at least 11 others injured. The Metropolitan Police are currently investigating a series of serious assaults, stabbings, and a shooting that took place across multiple boroughs.

The violent incidents occurred between Friday 5 July and Sunday 7 July in the areas of Neasden, Erith, Chingford, Willesden, Vauxhall, Hillingdon, and Croydon.

In Erith, at approximately 3pm on Saturday 6 July, a double stabbing left a 47-year-old woman and an 18-year-old man injured. The man remains in stable condition in hospital. Following the attack, police arrested two 16-year-old girls in connection with the incident. No other suspects have been identified at this time.

The violence was not limited to Erith. Other serious assaults, including stabbings and a shooting, were reported in Neasden, Chingford, Willesden, Vauxhall, Hillingdon, and Croydon. Emergency services responded swiftly, transporting victims to hospital while police launched multiple investigations.

The Metropolitan Police have urged London residents to remain calm amid rising concerns. A spokesperson stated: “We are dealing with a number of complex investigations across multiple boroughs and are doing all we can to bring those responsible to justice. We urge anyone with information, CCTV, or footage to come forward immediately.”
