Police in Gravesend conducted a drug sting after stopping a Toyota Yaris on Old Road East on 4 November 2020 at around 8.45pm. Officers acted on intelligence suggesting the vehicle’s occupants might be involved in drug dealing.

All four men in the car were arrested on suspicion of drug offences and taken to North Kent Police Station. They were searched under the Misuse of Drugs Act, where officers found cash and two mobile phones in the vehicle.

Casey Butler, aged 22, from Maple Road, Greater London, was charged with being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs. He is scheduled to appear at Medway Magistrates’ Court on 6 November 2020.

The other three men, an 18-year-old from Maidstone, a 19-year-old from an undisclosed location, and a 17-year-old boy from Rochester, were released pending further enquiries as the investigation continues.
