Police conducted a drugs and guns raid in Belvedere on Wednesday 11 November 2020. Officers stopped a car on Picardy Road and found several wraps believed to be cocaine. The two men inside the vehicle were immediately arrested.
Following the arrests, police carried out a search of a property on Ruskin Road, Belvedere. During the search, they discovered drug paraphernalia, a pistol, and ammunition. Another man was arrested at the scene.
Three men have now been charged in connection with the raid. Keir Ratcliffe, 33, of Nursery Road, faces charges of possession of a firearm, possession of ammunition without a licence, and conspiracy to supply Class A drugs. John Murrell, 59, of Symons Avenue, Chatham, is charged with conspiracy to supply Class A drugs. Andrew Court, 55, of Ruskin Road, Belvedere, is charged with possession of a firearm, possession of ammunition without a licence, and conspiracy to supply Class A drugs.
All three suspects have been remanded in custody and are due to appear at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Friday 13 November.
