A teen has died, and two others remain seriously injured after a late-night crash in Flitwick.

Crash Details: Pushbikes, Scooter, and Blue BMW Involved

Bedfordshire Police were called at 11.50pm on Friday to Greenfield Road. A vehicle collided with three teenage boys — two on pushbikes and one on a push-along scooter. Emergency crews rushed to the scene, but one boy was pronounced dead on impact. The other two teens were taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

Driver Flees Scene, Arrests Made

The driver fled before police arrived. Authorities soon found the damaged vehicle — a blue BMW 318D — in a nearby street. Two suspects, a man and a woman in their 20s, were arrested. They face charges including causing death by dangerous driving, driving over the alcohol limit, and driving under the influence of drugs.

Police Seek Witnesses and Evidence

Police are following several lines of inquiry. They urge anyone who witnessed the incident or has dash cam, CCTV, or doorbell footage to come forward immediately. Witnesses can contact Bedfordshire Police online or call 101 quoting “Operation Birch.”
