Detectives have arrested two men after a 26-year-old was fatally stabbed in Westminster.
Stabbing Shocks Abbey Orchard Street
Police rushed to Abbey Orchard Street, SW1, at 10:17pm on Friday, March 27, following reports of a stabbing. Officers found the victim with serious stab wounds and gave first aid before paramedics arrived. Despite their desperate efforts, the man died at the hospital.
Two Men Arrested as Murder Probe Intensifies
After a swift investigation, two suspects aged 18 and 21 were arrested on suspicion of murder. They remain in custody as detectives dig deeper into the case.
Victim Identified as Farmanullah Sherzad, 26
Detective Chief Inspector Wayne Jolley: “These arrests mark significant progress in a fast-moving and complex case. Our thoughts are with Farmanullah’s family during this heartbreaking time. Extra patrols will be on the streets in the coming days to reassure the community.”
A post-mortem revealed Farmanullah died from multiple stab wounds. Police continue to support his grieving family while hunting for justice.
