Knife Attacker Still on the Run After Dagenham Stabbing

A man in his 40s was stabbed outside busy shops on Becontree Avenue, Dagenham, yesterday afternoon. The attack has left the local community shaken as police scramble to catch the culprit.

Becontree Avenue Stabbing Sends Victim to Hospital

The victim was slashed shortly before 4:10pm on Tuesday, March 24. Emergency services raced to the scene following frantic 999 calls. Paramedics treated him for a single stab wound and rushed him to hospital.

Luckily, police say his injuries are not life-threatening or life-changing.

No Arrests Yet as Police Hunt Knifeman

The Met confirmed the attacker is still at large this afternoon. No arrests have been made, and the investigation remains active.

A spokesperson urged:

“We are keen to hear from witnesses who may help identify the offender.”
