Prison Isolation – 23 Hours a Day Alone
Insiders say Glitter spends up to 23 hours daily isolated in his cell. He’s held on a Vulnerable Prisoner Unit for his own protection after being tossed back behind bars in March 2023 following worries about his behaviour at a bail hostel.
Legal Troubles and Loneliness Take Toll
Sources close to the case say Glitter is visibly distressed, weighed down by ongoing legal and financial troubles. His sentence runs until 2031 — and there’s little sign of early release or respite anytime soon.
