Police Hunt Vital Witness After Shocking Farnham Common Crash
Man in His 40s Left Critically Injured in Bike-Van Smash
Thames Valley Police are urgently searching for a key witness after a serious collision in Farnham Common.
At around 7:10pm on Tuesday 10 March 2026, a white Vauxhall van carrying ladders struck a stationary cyclist on Victoria Road.
The victim, a man in his forties, suffered a serious head injury and was rushed to hospital. Thankfully, he has since been discharged.
Two Slough Men Arrested Over Crash and Assault Charges
- A 22-year-old faces a slew of charges: assault causing actual bodily harm, attempted murder, dangerous driving, hit and run, firearm possession without a licence, and theft.
- A 43-year-old man was also arrested for attempted murder, dangerous driving, and failing to stop after the collision.
Both suspects have been released on conditional bail while police continue their investigation. Bail is set until 4 June 2026.
Police Plea: E-Scooter Rider Who Stopped to Help Must Come Forward
“I am appealing for witnesses following this incident to please come forward,” said Detective Constable Louise Sharples. “A person on an e-scooter stopped to help the victim immediately after the crash on Victoria Road. I urge them to get in touch as they could hold vital information.” “If you were nearby and have dash-cam footage, please review it and contact us if it shows anything useful.”
