A 24-year-old Wolverhampton man has been jailed for trying to meet 12-year-old girls for sex. Aaron Kainth, from Rooker Crescent, was caught sending messages last April, arranging illegal meetings with what he thought were young girls.
Police Sting Snags Sex Predator
The West Midlands Regional Organised Crime Unit (ROCU) and West Midlands Police launched a sting operation that stopped Kainth before he could do any harm. They swooped, arrested him, and slapped multiple charges on the pervert.
Kainth Pleads Guilty, Gets Heavy Sentence
At Wolverhampton Crown Court on Monday, 9 March, Kainth admitted a string of serious offences:
- Arranging or facilitating a child sex offence
- Attempting to cause a girl under 13 to engage in sexual activity
- Trying to get a child under 13 to view sexual images
- Two counts of attempting sexual communication with a child
He was slammed with a hefty jail term of seven years and two months. On top of that, Kainth must stay on the sex offenders’ register for life.
