Massive £350,000 Cannabis Bust in Scunthorpe! Humberside Police have smashed a major drug operation, raiding three illegal cannabis farms and arresting two men.

Gigantic Grow Ops Torn Down

On Friday, 13 March, the Kinetic Intervention Team swooped on three Scunthorpe properties. Each had been converted into large-scale cannabis farms. Police seized all the crops, with a street value estimated at around £350,000. The drugs are set to be destroyed.

Dodgy Electricity Stole Power for the Grows

Officers also uncovered illegal electricity theft at all three sites. The stolen power was used to run the grow operations—a risky and serious offence.

Two Men Arrested and Charged

The suspects now face charges of producing cannabis and abstracting electricity. Police are urging locals to come forward with any tips on drug crimes.

A Humberside Police spokesperson said: “Anyone with information relating to drugs offences can get in touch with us by ringing 101. Alternatively, if you wish to remain anonymous you can call the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
