In a major crackdown from 2 to 8 March 2026, Kent police arrested 47 suspects and seized over £100,000 in cash. This stunning operation hits county lines dealers hard, sending a clear warning to criminals across the county.
28 Deadly Weapons Off Kent Streets
The police didn’t stop at cash and drugs. Officers recovered a shocking 28 weapons, including machetes, samurai swords, crossbows, and knives. Out of those nabbed, 23 now face charges for 63 offences.

Key Busts and Jaw-Dropping Finds
- Maidstone Raids (2 March): Two men arrested after cops seized a pure gold bar, huge piles of cash, cannabis disguised in ‘frosted apple’ bags, and drug gear. Cecil Samba, 30, and Emmanuel Denteh, 31, face multiple drug charges and remain in custody awaiting court.
- Herne Bay Warrant (5 March): Officers uncovered cash, mobile phones, Class A & B drugs, and digital scales. Damien Davies, 46, charged with possession and intent to supply cocaine, heroin, cannabis, plus acquiring criminal property. Still behind bars.
- Sittingbourne Farm Raid (6 March): Police found cocaine, a Katana sword, drug cutting kit, plus stolen caravans, car parts and a generator. Barry Daynes, 37, and Albert Scamp, 39, charged with weapons and drug offences, bailed pending court. Investigation ongoing.
“Those involved often target vulnerable people within our community,” said Detective Inspector Andy Leventis. “They bring misery and criminality to the streets of Kent and we want to make sure they know they are not welcome.”
