Twisted Torture Uncovered in Glasgow Home
The Daniels, now living in Herne Bay, Kent, were found guilty at Glasgow Sheriff Court on 27 January 2026. The shocking abuse took place between 1986 and 1991 at their Parkhead home in Glasgow.
Victims revealed the twisted horrors they suffered:
- Forced into animal enclosures, standing among pecking geese.
- Pushed into filthy outdoor bird baths.
- Made to starve while being fed ferret food like cow’s tongue.
- One child forced to eat on the floor with pet dogs.
- Locked in rooms, watched through alarmed windows, with bathroom access limited to a single square of toilet paper.
- Forced to stand facing walls for hours, sometimes on one leg until they collapsed.
- Subjected to violent physical assaults and relentless control.
Justice Served: Daniels Get 30 Months Each
On 9 March 2026, Barbara and Douglas Daniel were sentenced to 30 months in jail each. Their monstrous abuse left deep, lifelong scars on the children they were meant to protect.
