Man Stabbed on Woolwich’s Spray Street – Police Hunt Suspects
Shock on Spray Street yesterday afternoon as a 57-year-old man was found injured with wounds to his head and left arm. He was rushed to hospital, but thankfully his injuries are not life-threatening.
Stabbing Rocks Woolwich at 1pm
Police were called to Spray Street, Woolwich, around 1pm on March 5 after reports of a stabbing. Officers arrived to find the victim injured and quickly summoned the London Ambulance Service. Paramedics treated him on the scene before taking him to hospital for further care.
Man Stable – But No Arrests Yet
The Metropolitan Police confirmed no arrests have been made. They are urgently appealing for witnesses to come forward. A spokesperson said:
“Around 13:00hrs on Thursday, 5 March, officers attended Spray Street, Woolwich following reports of a stabbing. A 57-year-old man was treated at the scene by the London Ambulance Service for injuries to his left arm and head. He was taken to hospital, where his injuries were assessed as non-life-threatening. No arrests have been made, and officers are making urgent enquiries. Anybody who witnessed the incident or who has information, is urged to call 101, quoting reference 3568/05MAR.”
