An explosion tore through a Chippenham house this afternoon, sparking a massive emergency scramble.
Fire, Police, and Ambulance Rush to Orchard Crescent
At around 3.15pm on Thursday, 999 crews zoomed to Orchard Crescent after reports of a serious blast.

All arrived on scene by 3.30pm, ready to tackle the chaos.
One Injured as Area Is Locked Down
One person was hurt and is now being treated by paramedics. Wiltshire Police have slammed warnings for the public to respect cordons and steer clear.
“We are currently attending an incident in Orchard Crescent, Chippenham in support of Fire and Ambulance Service colleagues. Members of the public should abide by the cordons that have been put in place and avoid the area to allow emergency services to attend,” said a Wiltshire Police spokesperson.
