A man in his 40s was stabbed on Arnside Street near Queen’s Row at around 4.30pm yesterday (March 4).

Suspect Nabbed Just Minutes Later

Police and paramedics rushed to the scene immediately. The victim was rushed to hospital with injuries described as non-life-threatening.

Officers quickly arrested a 39-year-old man nearby on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm. He remains in custody as the investigation continues.

Police Seek Witnesses to Solve Stabbing

“Police were called by the London Ambulance Service at 16:26 on Wednesday, 4 March following reports of a stabbing in Walworth,” a Met Police spokesperson said.

Police are urging anyone who saw what happened to come forward and help with their inquiries.
