Bradford police unleashed high-tech facial recognition vans in the heart of the city to hunt down known troublemakers.
Five Nabbed Over Past Crimes
The operation paid off on Saturday with five arrests tied to six serious offences. The suspects face charges including domestic violence, resisting arrest, breaching restraining orders, and flouting Drug Intervention Programme rules.
Spot Checks on Court-Ordered Offenders
Officers didn’t stop there. They also tracked down three people under court orders to make sure they were toeing the line.
“Our Live Facial Recognition vans were operational in Bradford city centre on Saturday where they were used to target known offenders,” police said.
