Teen Arrested After Brutal Early Morning Stabbing in Worthing
A 17-year-old boy from Brighton was arrested in the early hours of Sunday following a serious stabbing in Victoria Park, Worthing. The shocking attack unfolded around 2:45am on Saturday, 28 February.
Victim Seriously Injured but Now Recovering at Home
The victim, a man in his 40s, suffered serious injuries after a brief altercation with two suspects. He was rushed to hospital but has since been discharged and is recovering at home.
Suspect in Custody as Police Hunt for More Clues
Witnesses say the attackers wore all-grey tracksuits, hoods up, faces covered. Sussex Police arrested the teenager on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent and involvement in Class A drug supply.
Detective Sergeant Harry Mansbridge said: “We are gathering CCTV footage which could prove vital. We thank the public for the information already received.”
