Teen Murderer Slapped With Nearly 12 Years Inside
A 14-year-old boy found guilty of murdering Ibrahima at Manchester Crown Court on 22 December 2025 has been locked up for 11 years and 10 months in a young offender institution. Two other teens—another 14-year-old and a 17-year-old—were convicted of manslaughter. They received shorter sentences of two years and four months, and two years and 10 months respectively.
Two Adults Get Suspended Sentences for Helping Teens
Keri Dobson and Naomi Heavens, both from Moston, dodged jail but were handed 12-month suspended sentences after being convicted of assisting offenders involved in the case.
Tragic Stabbing Cuts Short Football Dream
The horrific attack unfolded on 8 June 2025 as Ibrahima was on his way to a football game. He and his friends were confronted by the three teens, sparking a violent fight.
Ibrahima was chased into a pub car park, where one of the 14-year-olds stabbed him fatally. Even badly wounded, Ibrahima managed to reach a house on Nevin Road to call for help and name his attacker before succumbing to his injuries in hospital.
