Teen Girl Targeted in Shocking Crawley Robbery Attempt Caught on CCTV
Sussex Police are hunting a thug after a terrifying robbery attempt on a 15-year-old girl in Crawley. The brazen incident unfolded on 15 December 2025, around 5:40pm, as the teenager walked from Hambleton Hill towards Caburn Heights.
The attacker lunged to snatch her phone before sprinting off towards Ditchling Hill in Southgate.
Suspect on the Run: Man in Dark Clothes Spotted
Officers describe the suspect as a South Asian man, around 5’11”, wearing dark clothing. Attempts to locate him are ongoing after police released CCTV images to the public.
