A ruthless gang behind a terrifying kidnap and torture ordeal in Dorking have been slammed with a combined jail term of over 36 years. The verdict came after a gripping six-week trial at Guildford Crown Court.
Gang Leaders Nabbed: Sentences Unveiled
- Reece Armstrong, 30, from Staines-upon-Thames, was found guilty of conspiracy to kidnap, a savage Section 18 assault causing grievous bodily harm, and two counts of possessing offensive weapons. He’s locked up for nine years, added to an unrelated five-year sentence he already faces.
- Tarelle Thompson, 28, Croydon, convicted of conspiracy to kidnap and weapon possession, hit with nine years behind bars plus five years on licence.
- Lorna Swyer, 21, Dorking, admitted conspiracy to kidnap and common assault. She’ll serve three years and four months.
- Sebastian Love, 21, from Merton, also pleaded guilty to conspiracy to kidnap, getting the same three years and four months jail time.
Sex Offender Levi Burton Locked Up for Assault & Police Attack
Levi Burton, 31, Leatherhead, was found guilty of sexual assault and had already admitted conspiracy to kidnap, false imprisonment, and assaulting a police officer. He’s caged for 12 years plus five years on licence and faces lifetime registration on the Sex Offenders Register.
