Man Sparks Major Emergency After Allegedly Drugging Himself in Pewsey

A man sparked a huge emergency response after reportedly drugging himself with a notorious date rape drug in a Pewsey car park.

Emergency Crews Race to the Scene

At around 5.30pm on Friday 20 February, emergency services were scrambled to an unconscious man near Pewsey Wharf off the A345. Paramedics arrived fast but grew concerned when they found a suspicious package on the man.

A Hazardous Area Response Team (HART) was rushed in amid fears over the unknown substance.

French Horn Car Park Locked Down

Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue teamed up with Wiltshire Police to seal off the former French Horn pub car park. The area remained cordoned off as they investigated the incident.
