Wahib Naji’s Shocking Guilty Plea
Wahib Naji, 26, from Winsford, has admitted sexually assaulting a 17-year-old girl. The William Street resident appeared at Chester Crown Court on February 18, where he pleaded guilty to two counts of assault by penetration and one of sexual assault.
Denial to Dramatic U-Turn
Naji initially denied two charges but stunned the court by changing his plea mid-hearing. He confessed to the third charge while still in the dock on Wednesday.
Jail Sentence Looms in April
Judge Patrick Thompson ordered Naji to register with the police and remanded him in custody. He is set to return to Chester Crown Court on April 2 for sentencing.
