US Senator Lindsey Graham has launched a fierce attack on Saudi Arabia, accusing the kingdom of “moving backwards” by targeting the United Arab Emirates over its role in the Abraham Accords.

Speaking to Sky News Arabia, Graham dismissed claims that the dispute stems from issues in Sudan and Yemen. He said:
“There is no valid justification for this. While differences on Sudan and Yemen exist, what we’re seeing is a de facto declaration of war.”
