Man in His 20s Hospitalised After Midnight Assault in Sydenham
A man in his 20s was rushed to a major trauma centre after suffering a head injury during an assault in Sydenham just before 2am on Sunday, February 15.
Emergency services were called to Bell Green, where paramedics treated the victim before swiftly transporting him for specialist care. Thankfully, police say his injuries are not life-threatening or life-changing.
No Arrests Yet – Police Hunting Witnesses
Officers quickly sealed off the area near the Bell Green Southend Lane bus stop. So far, no suspects have been arrested.
The Met Police are appealing for anyone with information to call 101, quoting reference CAD783/15Feb.
Rapid Response From London’s Emergency Crews
The London Ambulance Service sprang into action after receiving the emergency call at 1:53am. They dispatched ambulances, paramedics in fast response cars, an incident response officer, and even the trauma team from London’s Air Ambulance.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We treated a man for a head injury and took him to a major trauma centre.”
