Predator Paedophile Jailed for Nearly Four Years After Abducting Teen
Late-Night SOS from Teen Sparks Police Raid
Richard Knight, 73, from Pendine, Carmarthenshire, was finally caught after a 15-year-old girl’s desperate call to her mum. The distressed teen dialled from Knight’s home in the early hours of 11 April 2022, begging to be rescued after being forced on drugs.
Mum alerted Dyfed-Powys police immediately. Officers stormed Knight’s address but found no one home. Inside, they uncovered a cannabis grow operation, but Knight and the girl were nowhere to be found.
Police Nab Knight with Drugs and Shocking Child Abuse Files
Knight soon drove the girl back home but didn’t escape trouble. Cops arrested him at his house for drink-driving, cannabis possession with intent to supply, and supplying drugs to a minor. The 73-year-old’s devices revealed a sickening stash of six Class A drugs and 1,101 indecent images of children — including 122 of the most severe kind.
Knight pleaded guilty to abduction, child abuse images, and drug offences. He will now serve nearly four years behind bars.
