Five Injured in Early Morning Nottingham Hit-and-Run
Up to five people were hurt in a shocking hit-and-run crash on Talbot Street, Nottingham, in the early hours of February 12. Three victims were rushed to hospital with injuries, but luckily none are life-threatening.
Police Race to Catch Driver After Hit-and-Run
Nottinghamshire Police scrambled to the scene at 2:09am after reports that a car had ploughed into a group of pedestrians. Officers swiftly tracked down a vehicle linked to the incident, saying the investigation is moving quickly.
“This is a serious incident which will understandably cause concern. Detectives are working at pace and will be using all the investigative tools at our disposal,” said Detective Inspector Lisa Jones.
Road Closures and Urgent Public Appeal
Talbot Street remains shut between Wollaton Street and Clarendon Street as police continue their probe. Commuters are urged to find alternative routes and stay clear of the area today.
