A top drug dealer in Canterbury has been busted after police stopped his car and exposed a massive nationwide drug operation.
Police Pinch Mario Neto in Military Road Sting
On 9 August 2025, Canterbury’s Neighbourhood Task Force flagged down a suspicious car on Military Road. The vehicle was linked by intelligence to a major drug ring.
When officers stopped the car, Mario Neto denied any drug possession or that the vehicle belonged to him. But a roadside search told a different story. Police found £610 in cash, 48 bags of cocaine, and a baseball bat.
Mobile Phones Uncover Vast Drug Empire
Officers also seized several mobile phones. Examining tens of thousands of messages from May to June 2025, cops uncovered coded chats about cocaine dealing. Slang like ‘white snowflake’ and snowflake emojis peppered the texts, revealing the scale of the operation.
“I welcome the sentence handed down and praise the Task Force officers. Their quick thinking and local expertise were key in bringing Neto to justice.
This case sends a stark warning: drug dealers in Kent, your days are numbered. You will be caught and held accountable.”
