Protest Blocks Workers at Sandwich Factory
Workers were left stranded this morning as protesters surrounded a company site in Sandwich, stopping staff from entering the premises.
Early-Morning Demo Causes Chaos
The demonstration kicked off around 7am on Thursday, February 12, outside an industrial facility on Stoner Road, near Stoner Café.
- Several coaches left London before dawn, including from Dixon Road near Goldsmiths and central London locations.
- The protesters arrived just before 7am and took up positions at the factory gates.
Shift Workers Barred From Site
Employees arriving for their morning shifts found the gates locked and themselves barred from entering. Multiple workers were turned away as the protest barricaded the entrance.
Road traffic was snarled with heavy delays as vehicles tried to weave around the growing crowd.
Kent Police on Scene, No Arrests Yet
Kent Police officers showed up shortly after the protest began, keeping an eye on the situation. The force described the demonstration as peaceful and have thus far made no arrests.

Why the Protest?
Sources say the action aims at the company’s alleged supply of electrical parts used in drone technology linked to Israel’s military operations.
