Dangerous Prisoner Daniel Boakye Escapes from Hospital in West London
Daniel Boakye, 21, a convicted robber and alleged drill rapper, has vanished after escaping from HMP Feltham custody. He slipped away in the early hours of Tuesday, February 10, while under prison guard at a West London hospital.
Who Is Daniel Boakye?
- Boakye was jailed in July 2023 for six years and five months for conspiracy to commit robbery, plus an additional robbery offence.
- He is originally from Alma Road, Enfield.
- Local sources claim he is involved in the drill rap scene.
Boakye disappeared shortly after 3:30 am, raising urgent alarm bells with police and the Ministry of Justice scrambling to find him.
Police and Prison Service Launch Manhunt
“Shortly after 03:30hrs on Tuesday, 10 February, the Met was informed by the Prison Service that a prisoner had escaped custody while under the care of prison staff at a West London hospital,” a Metropolitan Police spokesperson confirmed.
Officers are now carrying out urgent enquiries to track down Boakye and return him to prison as quickly as possible.
“The prisoner is a 21-year-old man. While the investigation proceeds at pace, we will not be able to provide further details,” the Met added.
A spokesperson for the Prison Service said: “We are urgently working with the Metropolitan Police to recapture this prisoner and investigating how he was able to escape from the hospital.”
