Drug Dealer and Puppy Abuser Rashid Chin-King Jailed for Three Years

Rashid Chin-King, 25, from Chingford, has added another notch to his criminal record. This week, he was locked up for running a Class A drug ring in South Essex. But that’s not all — before his latest offence, Chin-King shocked the public with brutal abuse of his puppy.

Horrific Puppy Abuse Caught on Camera

Last November, Chin-King faced court after chilling footage surfaced showing him violently kicking and treading on his young dog. The RSPCA received clear evidence of the attack: three savage kicks to the pup’s head, followed by him stamping down on the terrified animal’s skull.

“Although the footage had no sound, the dog’s mouth was open as if he was crying out or yelping,” said RSPCA inspector Shahnaz Ahmad. “The attack appeared completely unprovoked.”

Chin-King admitted causing unnecessary suffering to an animal. He was slapped with an eight-year ban on owning dogs, a £500 fine, and a 12-month community order.

Drug Ring Exposed After Customer Dies of Overdose

Only weeks later, police swooped on Chin-King’s home. The investigation kicked off following a tragic drug overdose that claimed one of Chin-King’s customers in South Essex. Phone forensics tied the victim directly to Chin-King’s drug dealing.

In a rookie error, Chin-King used his drug phone to contact the Department for Work and Pensions, exposing his identity. Cops seized the phone, and he pleaded guilty at Southend Crown Court to two charges of Class A drug supply between March and December 2025.

Locked Up for Three Years

Chin-King’s history is grim, including past weapons convictions. This time, the judge threw the book at him — sentencing him to three years behind bars.

The RSPCA praised the brave whistleblower who handed over the horrific puppy abuse footage, calling the attack “shocking” and saying the poor pup was left “with no way to escape.”
