Wild Police Chase Ends with Burglars Busted
In the early hours of Sunday, 18 January, South Yorkshire Police spotted a black Audi A3 cruising on cloned plates. The driver refused to stop, sparking a heart-pounding high-speed chase. The car even sped the wrong way down the busy A61 dual carriageway, putting other road users at risk.
Officers wisely called off the dangerous pursuit, but the drama was far from over.

The abandoned car was found running on Cornish Street. Enter General Purpose Dog PD Arlo, the hero with a nose. Arlo swiftly tracked down two men hiding in nearby bushes. Realising they were caught, the crooks surrendered without a fight.
