Sexual Assault Horror Near Launceston College – Police Launch Manhunt
Teen Girl Attacked in Alleyway
Devon & Cornwall Police are hunting witnesses after a 17-year-old girl was sexually assaulted near Launceston College. The terrifying incident happened just after 9:20pm on Sunday, 25 January, in a dim alleyway close to the college.
Thankfully, the victim managed to escape when a dog walker suddenly interrupted the attack.
Suspect Nabbed, But Police Still Need Help
Authorities scrambled patrols and a police helicopter to the scene. They soon arrested a man in his 30s on suspicion of sexual assault. He remains in custody while investigations continue.
