Five Lock Up for 110 Years Over Brutal Killing of Jordan Hogg
Five men have been slammed with a combined 110 years in jail for the savage murder of 28-year-old Jordan Hogg in Hemlington. The deadly attack exploded from a row about a stolen bike.
Knife and Machete Rampage Inside Victim’s Home
Oliver Connelly, Sidney Bashford, and Ryan Moore burst into Jordan’s home on Fonteyn Court armed with knives and machetes. Meanwhile, 17-year-old Kaiden McIver – recently named after a reporting ban was lifted – stood watch outside, also wielding a machete.
Desperate Escape Ends in Tragedy
After the brutal stabbing, the gang fled the scene heading to a waiting van where getaway driver Michael Charville was ready. Despite managing to call for help from nearby neighbours, Jordan collapsed and was tragically pronounced dead in the early hours of Wednesday, 28 February 2025.
