Two men were deliberately struck by a car in Leeds, police have confirmed.
Deliberate Hit-and-Run on Swinegate
At 5.57am today, West Yorkshire Police rushed to Swinegate near Leeds Bridge, initially thinking it was a routine crash. But they soon discovered a black Vauxhall Insignia estate was driven straight at two men, ages 40 and 56, following a heated argument nearby.
Victims Hospitalised but Stable
The men were taken to hospital with injuries described as serious but thankfully not life-threatening. Police closed the road for vehicle recovery and investigation but it has since reopened.
Police Urge Witnesses to Speak Up
Leeds District CID detectives are now probing the shocking attack.
