£7,500 Reward for Masked Gang’s Brutal Armed Heist in Nottinghamshire
Crimestoppers has launched a fresh appeal with a fat £7,500 reward for information on a violent, armed break-in at a family home in Kimberley, Nottinghamshire. The terrifying raid has left a family traumatised and a haul worth around £1 million stolen.
Masked Thugs Smash In with Sledgehammer and Pickaxe
Just after 7.40pm on Thursday 4 December 2025, five masked men smashed in through the rear patio doors. When the husband tried to stop them, they brutally attacked him with a sledgehammer, striking his back and knee.
Then they forced him to open a safe crammed full of high-end watches. Meanwhile, the wife was dragged upstairs and made to hand over the locations of even more valuables.
The gang escaped on foot through nearby woodland, making off with luxury watches and designer handbags worth around £1 million.

CCTV, Fake Plates & How You Can Help
CCTV captured the gang approaching the home armed with a sledgehammer and pickaxe, ramping up fears over their violence.
Meanwhile, police traced a suspicious grey hatchback using fake number plates spotted on the nearby A610 between 7.21pm and 7.49pm the same evening. The car is believed to have sped off towards the West Midlands.
