Tragic Stabbing Shakes Isle of Sheppey
Emergency services were called to Noreen Avenue, Isle of Sheppey, at 6:38pm on Saturday, 17 January 2026. A man in his 50s was found with stab wounds and tragically died at the scene.
Suspect Arrested Within Hours
William Hepworth, 23, from Alma Road, Sheerness, was arrested shortly after the stabbing. He has now been charged with murder.
First Court Appearance Set
Hepworth is scheduled to appear at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 19 January.
