A brutal thug has been locked up for nearly four years after two savage attacks four years apart. Frankie Wall, 22, once of Totnes but now homeless, was sentenced at Plymouth Crown Court on Tuesday, 13 January, after pleading guilty to robbery and affray.
Terrifying Totnes Home Invasion
Wall’s latest crime rocked Totnes on 26 April 2025. Together with two mates, he burst into a home, pinned a man to his bed, and launched a vicious assault. Armed with a screwdriver, Wall and his gang demanded cash before ransacking the property. They made off with money, a phone, and tools, leaving their victim with serious facial injuries.
Violent Attack Four Years Earlier
Wall’s violent past goes back to April 2021. Arriving in a black BMW with two others at Dartington Estate, the trio brutally beat another man. They kicked him in the face and punched him with keys between their fingers, shattering his jaw and requiring surgery.
Wall was sentenced to 16 months for this attack, to run concurrently with his current jail term. Meanwhile, his accomplices dodged jail, receiving suspended sentences last year.
Police Urge End to Violence
“We welcome the sentence given to Frankie Wall at Plymouth Crown Court,” said DCI Becky Davies.
“Wall launched two separate ferocious attacks on his victims, leaving them with significant facial damage. The time between the offences shows he remains dangerous. We hope this sentence sends a clear message that such violence will not be tolerated in our community.”
