Bloodied Clothes Dumped in Burton: Police Launch Urgent Welfare Appeal

Staffordshire Police have sprung into action after blood-stained clothing was found dumped in a bin on Branston Road, Burton-on-Trent. Officers arrived on the scene at 6pm on Wednesday, 7 January and now desperately want to track down the owner – believed to be a possible assault victim – to make sure they’re safe.

What Was Found?

  • Grey tracksuit bottoms, size large, narrow leg – possibly women’s
  • White top
  • Large grey jumper from Primark
  • Size 6 pink trainers
  • Large black leggings with white stripes from Shein

Police Hunt Witnesses and CCTV Footage

The bloodied clothes have been seized as vital evidence. Officers are now reviewing CCTV from the area to piece together what happened.

Police urge anyone who spotted a wounded person or suspicious behaviour nearby to step forward now.
