Police have dealt a crushing blow to organised crime after raiding a colossal cannabis farm in Walmer, just outside Deal. The dramatic swoop unfolded on Saturday afternoon, 10 January 2026, as officers stormed a property on The Strand.
Over 300 Cannabis Plants Confiscated
Inside, cops found more than 300 cannabis plants spread across several floors. The illegal HQ was decked out with high-tech grow rooms complete with lights, fans, and all the gear criminals need to pump out Class B drugs.
Police Strike Hard Against Crime Gangs
Officers quickly tore down the entire illegal setup, seizing every last piece of growing equipment. The building is now secured while detectives probe deeper into the drug-making racket.
