Fatal Collision Rocks Bedminster

A cyclist has died after a horrific smash with a car in Bristol. Avon & Somerset Police rushed to North Street, Bedminster, just after 12.30pm on Sunday, 11 January, following reports of the serious accident.

Despite frantic efforts by emergency teams and bystanders, the cyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. Police confirmed the victim’s family has been informed and is receiving specialist support.

Man Arrested Over Deadly Crash

A man in his twenties was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, failing to stop, and driving while unfit. He remains in custody as police continue their probe.
