Police Launch Murder Hunt in Poole
A woman in her 80s was discovered dead inside her Poole home, sparking a major murder investigation. Officers were called to the property on Higher Blandford Road just before 5pm on December 1.
Her death is being treated as suspicious, with signs pointing to a possible burglary. Dorset Police have launched a full inquiry into the grim incident.
Six Arrests Made, Including Teenagers
Following the discovery, six suspects have been arrested to assist with the probe. They include:
- 32-year-old man from Verwood
- 30-year-old man from Wimborne
- 16-year-old boy from Romsey
- 22-year-old man from Wimborne
- 21-year-old man from Alderholt
- 17-year-old boy from Wimborne (arrested later)
All six have since been released on police bail while enquiries continue.
“The six arrests have been made to assist officers in gathering as much information as they can, while providing legal protection to the individuals,” said Dorset Police.
