Teen Left Fighting for Life After Brutal Folkestone Stabbing
Horror Unfolds Near Folkestone Bus Station
A local teenager is seriously injured and clinging to life following a savage stabbing on Tuesday evening in Folkestone, Kent. The attack happened around 7:30pm near Middleberg Square, close to the town’s bus station.
Life-Saving Airlift and Armed Police Response
The victim was airlifted by helicopter to a major trauma centre, as armed Kent Police officers, paramedics, and the Kent, Sussex and Surrey air ambulance rushed to the scene. Four other teenagers have been arrested in connection with the attack.
Ongoing Investigation at Crime Scene
Police have sealed off the area as a major crime scene. Search dogs are scouring the site to recover the weapon used in the attack. Officers remain on site as inquiries continue.
A Kent Police spokesman said: “Officers were called at around 8pm on Tuesday 17 May 2022 to a report of a disturbance in Middleberg Square, Folkestone. Two males were treated at the scene for stab wounds and taken to hospital. Two other males have been arrested and investigations are ongoing.”
