Tragic Crash in Ashley Cross Claims Life of Beloved Dad
Dorset Police were called to a serious collision at 5.35pm on Sunday 13 February 2022 near the junction of Station Road and Church Road in Ashley Cross. The crash involved a silver Land Rover Freelander and a grey Nissan Pulsar.
Man Arrested, Investigation Underway
A 41-year-old man from Poole was arrested on suspicion of driving offences but has since been released under investigation. Another 79-year-old Poole man is cooperating with police and attended a voluntary interview as part of the inquiry.
Local Dad Succumbs to Injuries
The victim, 32-year-old pedestrian Chris Lynch from Southampton, suffered serious injuries and was rushed to Southampton General Hospital. Tragically, he died three days later on Wednesday 16 February 2022.
