Police Raid Property in Durley Road Over Drug Supply Probe
Police swooped on a property in Durley Road, nestled between Fair Oak and Horton’s Heath today as part of an ongoing drug supply investigation.
Man Arrested as Police Search Property
Officers remain at the scene, thoroughly searching the property and surrounding land. A 29-year-old man from Eastleigh was arrested during the operation. He faces charges of being concerned in the supply of Class B drugs and handling stolen goods. The suspect is currently in custody.
Police Reassure Local Residents
Local police understand the raid may cause concern and want to keep residents informed on their efforts to tackle drug crime in the area.
Inspector Phil Raymond said: “Like many towns and villages across the UK, Eastleigh faces drug-related problems. This operation is part of our commitment to tackling the issue.”
“Drug supply is often linked to other crimes like theft, burglary, robbery, and serious violence. That’s why cracking down on dealers is so vital.”
“We want residents to see the action we’re taking and encourage them to report suspicious activity. Without help from the community, we can’t win this fight.”
