Armed officers in balaclavas stormed out of a blue BMW X5 after a rapid chase down the M2 near Canterbury on Tuesday afternoon. A National Police Air Service helicopter hovered overhead, scouring the area from above.

Robbery Leads to Arrest After Armed Stand-Off
A Kent Police spokesperson confirmed officers were called to a robbery at a commercial premises on Newington Road, Ramsgate just before 2pm on Wednesday, 19 February 2020.
“A quantity of cash was stolen,” the spokesperson said. “No injuries have been reported but witnesses state a weapon was seen during the incident.”
Following fresh intel, armed officers arrested a man at Marine Terrace, Margate just after 3pm. He is now in custody as investigations continue.
