M25 Shut Down After Pedestrian Spotted Walking Along Central Barrier
The M25 motorway at Junction 22 anti-clockwise has been slammed shut after a pedestrian was seen strolling along the central reservation in the early hours.
Traffic Comes to a Standstill
Reports came in just after 2.30am on Wednesday morning of a person walking along the carriageway’s centre barrier. Highways England quickly dispatched traffic officers to the scene to manage the situation.
Warning Signs in Place
Warning signs have been put up on the clockwise side, alerting drivers to the unusual hazard ahead and urging caution.
Motorists are advised to expect delays and seek alternative routes while the motorway remains closed.
