Firefighters have been battling a severe blaze at a Dunlop tyre store in Bromford, West Midlands, this Thursday evening. The fire erupted at a commercial unit on Wingfoot Way, sparking a major emergency response.
Massive Fire Response: 15 Fire Engines Deployed
Initially, eight fire crews raced to the scene after the alarm was raised around 7pm. The situation quickly escalated, prompting urgent backup from seven more appliances, including two hydraulic platforms. Teams from Birmingham, West Bromwich, and Sutton Coldfield joined the fight against the flames.
Fire Still Rages as Crews Work Through the Night
Despite their efforts, the fire has not yet been fully extinguished. Firefighters continue to tackle the intense blaze, though the emergency response is being gradually scaled down as the situation stabilises.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation, with no reported injuries so far.
