Blaze Breaks Out at Ashton-under-Lyne Home

Firefighters raced to a massive house fire on Sheard Avenue, Ashton-under-Lyne, Saturday night. Emergency crews were called just after 8.15pm on May 3rd following reports of a raging fire at a semi-detached property.

Thick Smoke and Multiple Fire Crews on Scene

Witnesses spotted thick smoke billowing high above the burning house, with emergency vehicles crowding the nearby streets. Several fire crews from Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service battled to control the flames.

No Injuries Reported But Firefighters Stay Late

So far, no injuries have been confirmed. Firefighters are expected to remain at the scene into the night, working to fully damp down the blaze and probe its cause.
